Perhaps the worst part about an amazing powder day is the end of it. Second to the powder day officially ending, another downfall to the end of the day is being wet and cold. There have been days when after a long day of skiing I just cannot warm up. That day is long gone now thanks to Jati Nation. The idea was born in Vail, CO from a vision in which Burton Falk had while watching ski and snowboard racers hang out in their wet and worn race suits after a long and tiring day out on the hill.
The cotton/polyester fleece baggy one-piece, called the Jati Suit, was born. These suits are designed with the idea in mind that one can easily slip the fleece piece over base layers or ski suits. They’re perfect for any activity though, whether it be camping, skiing, lounging, running, hot springing, hiking, biking or anything else you can think of. They take the bite out of the air and warm you right up when you have the chills. On warm summer nights throw one of these on and sleep under the stars without even a sleeping bag!
Jati Suits not only have an extra long zipper for entry and exit, the zipper zips entirely closed. This concept is hard to explain but take a look at the pictures and just think of all those times your roommate stayed up way too late reading with the light on. With the Jati Suit, you can easily block out cold, sun, noise, and wind.
For all the ladies out there that want to cozy up, I followed the Jati size chart and ordered a Medium. I think I could’ve gotten away with the Small but I will be using my Jati Suit inside more than outside. With that in mind, if you are a ski racer or plan on wearing this over some layers, the suggested size should work great. If you plan on wearing it for lounging, sizing down may be a good option too.
I’ve always been a fan of one-pieces and can’t believe it is just now that I own one made of warm and cozy cotton/poly fleece. All of your friends will be jealous, especially with Jati’s sweet color ways, colorado proud, or USA patriotic designs.
