Kuhl’s Elite Cafe Hoody is very warm for its weight, packs small, and has vents in the hood. It has an SPF rating of 50 so you won’t get burned in the hottest of sun. The best part may be that it’s made out of recycled coffee grounds. Kuhl says it inhibits the growth of bacteria, so you’ll hit the bars smelling nice after a day outside.
The thumb loops are nice for keeping your hands warm and keeping the sleeves in place when scrambling over rock. When it’s warm, I don’t often wear long clothes, but this would fit the bill nicely, especially with the vented hood.
