One of the hardest things to do is to choose a backpack. Due to gear tests and being somewhat of a collector, I own at least 12 backpacks, and could probably fit in a few more.
But you don’t need 12 backpacks. Once you figure out what you enjoy (lightweight day trips vs. long overnights for instance), it becomes easy to narrow it down. Thanks to Josh for pointing out this great graphic by REI, it’s never been easier to find just the right pack.
