I hate having to put away all my base layers after the winter season and now thanks to super.natural I don’t have to. The Women’s Base LS 175 crew base layer top is one that I will keep on hand year round.
The polyester and merino combination makes this super comfortable layer technical and feature-packed in all the right places. Whether I’m skiing in cold temps, hiking in moderate temps, or canoeing in hot temps, merino is the only choice for me for base layers.
The LS 175 is a very quick drying top that wicks away moisture and doesn’t smell too bad after a long trip in the wilderness. The feel of this top is what gets me every time. It’s extremely soft and comfortable, not itchy, and doesn’t irritate my skin on seams thanks to super.natural’s flat-lock stitching.
Like I mentioned in the video, the sizing is surprising as the size small fits me well. It is a little bit tighter fitting but I actually like it for this top as it makes it easy to layer up over. The sleeves are long enough and the torso will tuck in and not come untucked in the gnar. The crew adds to the comfort for me and will keep your chest protected from the harsh sun!
