As you can tell by the wind in the video, I encountered some monster weather as I reviewed the Clik Elite Venture 30 on the top of 14,293′ Mount Lincoln in Colorado. I had some expensive equipment in the pack and it was completely protected throughout 15 miles on the trail and wet falling snow.
At 3.39 pounds, this pack is heavier than I’m used to carrying. While my focus is on light and fast, if I’m carrying expensive equipment, I’d rather be safe than sorry. I had no problem trusting my gear to this bomber pack and didn’t mind the weight, especially since it sat very comfortably the entire trip.
The rain fly offers full coverage and kept everything dry while the accessory clips provide convenient access to a chest pack.
