The Probody Sport pack by Clik Elite was given the ultimate test when I took it to Tanzania, Africa for two weeks. Against good advice that any pro-traveler would ever give I had never used the Probody Sport, or any other Clik Elite product in fact, before leaving for my trip. I put a lot of trust in the pack being one of two bags that I would have with me the entirety of the adventure. Not only did I designate it as my carry-on, it would also be my daily use camera pack once in Tanzania.
I packed the night before (also something that pro-travelers would scorn) with clothes and camera gear strewn about the floor. First of all, the Probody Sport was the perfect size for a carry-on bag. We were taking one tripod, which fit securely in the cleverly designed tripod holster. I wasn’t taking my computer but I was taking an Ipad Mini and some books – the computer sleeve worked really well for this. The largest zippered compartment was just big enough for a change of clothes, toiletries, and other miscellaneous travel accessories. Every pocket designed on the pack is there for a reason and I found myself using them all, but never needing or wanting more.
Once in Africa, I used the Probody Sport everyday (no exaggeration, literally every day) as my daily camera bag. I often loaded sunscreen, water, a note book, and other miscellaneous gear in the large compartment. When I was really loaded down I used the computer sleeve for my down sweater which worked very well. The camera compartment is such a well thought-out design, making it easy and quick to get out the camera equipment that you need at any moment. In the compartment I was able to fit my Canon DSLR with a 400mm Lens (this is a huge lens and actually fit!), a point and shoot camera, a GoPro, and 2 other lenses for my DSLR. When I had my Canon and 400mm lens in the compartment, I usually stashed the other two lenses in a different compartment just so nothing was too tight. This bag went with me everywhere – from hikes to all-day drives in West Kilamanjaro – and kept my camera equipment safe, dust-free, and easy to grab. The straps (shoulder, chest, and waist/hip) ensure all day comfort even with a heavy load.
I put all of my trust in the Probody Sport bag by Clik Elite and it never let me down. From now on, when my camera equipment is along on the trip it is packed safely and conveniently in the Probody Sport pack.
