Leave it to Carhartt to build a pant with functionality, durability, and comfort. Not only do the Carhartt Flame Resistant Work Pants meet NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards, they meet my standards for a lightweight and comfortable pant.
Ninety-degree temps with high humidity make for hot and sweaty days. With added protection in mind, I can wear my Flame Resistant pants and not worry about being too hot in my airplane. Of course, in my line of work, if I am around fire I am in trouble but I’d like to think I am more protected when I have on my Flame Resistant Carhartt gear.
One more added benefit? This flame resistant pant resembles a fancy slack-like pant. So much so that at Thanksgiving dinner my girlfriend’s parents would assume I worked hard to dress up! If you run the risk of being exposed to a flash fire, these pants are a great choice because of comfort, practicality, and of course—style.
