I’ll admit it. I don’t wear dress shoes. Weddings and funerals are about as fancy as I get. So taking a leap into the style bounded darkness, I gave these a whirl. I couldn’t believe, when I first slipped these on, how comfortable they are! I’ve never had a dress shoe that I felt like I could walk for extended periods of time in.
The anatomical footbed and “molded nylon arch shank” are what make my feet feel really nice. Plus, the pigskin leather is soft, durable, and breathable. My feet run hot as it is, so it’s hard for me to want to wear a leather shoe. The pigskin nature combined with extra breathability in the heal area allow my feet to stay as dry as they can.
I got the Espresso color and they are a nice dark brown. The go nicely with my light tan Carhartts that I wear. I love being able to dress up a little bit, go out to dinner, and take Hank for a walk by the river. I could walk miles.
