It’s glove review week from Ski Cooper near Leadville, CO and I’m bringing you the best. At the end of this series I’ll bring all the gloves together into one review to tell you which I like best and why.
As the weather warmed up to about 10 degrees fahrenheit I switched over to the First Ascent Guide Gloves 2.0. The first time I wore these out it was even colder and I was ice climbing. The Guide Gloves take it all in stride and are durable enough to stand up to just about anything you can throw their way.
While the gloves come with Nikwax waterproofing, I’ve yet to apply it. My goal was to test them to their breaking point, but I never found found it. My hands were always toasty warm and dry, even after spending a full day in the backcountry.
